Nico Audiowave

One of switzerland’s dinosaur for electronic music! Percussions, drifty hypnotic beats, a touch of soul and marvelously deep………house is a feeling and Nico Audiowave has his finger firmly on the pulse, leading the way. The Swiss native has helped put on the electronic music map since 1994. Started with the ‚V.I.R.U.S. Polestar DJ CREW‘, the legendary ‚LIQUID CHEESE‘ aka Rino & Nico, today his solo project is called ‚AUDIOWAVE‘. With productions on labels like Traktor Schalllabor, P45, 12 O’Clock and an indomitable DJ style that has seen him rock out many floors.

His personal musical sensibility easily brought him through styles that range from punk, psy-rock, jazz, fusion, black music, hip hop, electronica, house and techno. His vision of club music is an evolution of the seventies funk mixed with house and techno roots, based on deep kicks, rumbling sub frequencies bass lines, sharp beats and groovy percussions, refined with a creative and fresh use of effects and musical elements generated by synths or sampled recordings.

After a break he returned to the scene. Builded his new home studio in central Switzerland. The connection with the local Heroes of electronic music, the 12 o’clock crew was born. We founded 12 o’clock music label.
